The folks at Cooper Cases are apparently quite proud of this tablet folio case: After all, it’s described as both “Infinite” and “Universal” in its lofty name. And in a few aspects, Cooper’s pride may be justified. Unfortunately, too many generic features (including the look) detract from the overall product.
The chief competitor to the Apple iPad 3 and new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 in terms of quality, speed and innovation must be the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. This tablet features an excellent touchscreen, fast processor, Android 4.0 operating system and unique keyboard dock. Sure to become a trendsetter. In terms of covers, users best look for made-to-fit Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime cases that will snuggly fit the tablet. Alternatively 11" tablet cases would be needed for protecting that tablet with its keyboard dock.
As in the 10” version of its Galaxy tablet PCs, Samsung has released its Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. And like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, the Tab 2 7.0 offers little advancement over its original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus version beyond the Android 4.0 operating system.
Samsung made some slight improvements to its flagship tablet PC and called it the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Aside from the Android 4.0 operating system, however, nearly everything remains the same in Galaxy Tab 2 model. This one’s a solid device, if a bit underwhelming against other new tablet PCs. Users looking for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 cases are best advised to get made-to-fit cases built specifically for this device.
Though incorporating only minor changes from the first version, the upgraded Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is still a top device within 7” tablet PCs – just don’t expect anything groundbreaking in this one. Among the highlights are the Android 4.0 operating system and the first-class touchscreen display. In terms of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 cases, due to the near identical size to its predecessor, both tablets will share the same tablet cases.
With the March 2012 release of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Samsung has made marginal improvements over its solid Galaxy Tab 10.1 model, but the improvements are slight at best.
