If we were to crown a leader of the sleeve maker kingdom, Blythe King would definitely be in the running. And no, it’s not because of her name. Since 2005, the Richmond Virginia based designer has been creating unique handmade Blythe King cases for popular Apple devices. Her iSocket sleeve designs have that special look and touch because they are made of recycled and repurposed vintage materials, only the padding is new.
Blythe King iPad cases are sized to fit any iPad, and Smart Cover compatible. They can also be used for any other device that can fit within the 9.6”x 7.5” x 0.5” sleeve measurements. Each design closes secure via a sling-flap with button. There is also a small pocket on the front exterior (approx 3” x 4”), which is perfect for storing a cell phone or music player. Prices start at $85, and materials. Some of the more impressionable designs being offered right now, include the “Girl Scout” ($105) case for ladies, and the “Army” ($145).
Tablet sleeves are generally pretty basic, but not Blythe King designs. Her original handmade creations have already inspired many to buy Blythe King tablet cases. If you own a device that won’t fit, the designer does accept custom order requests.
