Though the brand name is French for “as boys”, Comme de Garcons is actually a Japanese fashion label that produces men's and women's apparel, fragrances and other accessories, including Comme de Garcons cases. The brand was founded in 1969 by designer Rei Kawakubo, who still remains in charge today. Since its establishment, the Tokyo/Paris based company has developed a market-based department store concept and launched sub brands Shirt and Play.

The “wallet” collection currently features one Comme de Garcons tablet case, and also some small zipper sleeves (8” x 6”) that can be used to hold small tablets. The CDG Wallet iPad Case ($400-$500) is a portfolio case with 2 document folds and 5 card slots. Any iPad or 10” tablet can fit into the separated compartment, which offers an extra layer of protection and prevents other stored items from contacting the screen surface. This genuine leather case is available in range of colors, including classic neutral formal case designs and some bright hues that make an appealing tablet cases for ladies.

In the past, the Comme de Garcons designed fashions with a destroyed look. Today, the brand is creating designer tablet cases so your valuable device won’t end up looking that way, yet more so for the sake of appearing very glamorous and trendy.
