Defy Bags founder Chris Tag was raised in a proud industrial auto manufacturing town, and this is reflected in everything the brand has been producing since 2008. They mostly use vintage, reclaimed materials and imported metal components to create a line of bags and accessories all handmade in Chicago. Like a finely tuned automobile, Defy Bags cases are designed to be clean-lined, sturdy, durable and dependable.

The brand has designed one Defy Bags iPad case, the “Aesthetic Sleeve” ($170), available in black and brown. This genuine leather case will make any iPad or 10” tablet look nice (hence the name), yet pales in comparison to many of the shoulder/messenger bags. There are many choices, but the “Square” ($185) is the stand out design for tablet owners, as it can hold any device up to 11” in size. This foreseeable tablet bag with shoulder strap is made of military canvas and vinyl cargo truck tarp.

The skilled makers of Defy Bags get their hands dirty so your valuable items won’t. Perhaps the prices will, but certainly the sharp-looking style and quality shouldn’t defy the temptation to buy Defy Bags tablet cases.
