We often don‘t remember much from our early years, but surely this brand name sticks to mind. Fisher-Price was founded in 1930 by Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle. (Can anyone explain why Helen was excluded from the brand name?) The company remains headquartered where it was founded, in East Aurora New York. This world renown manufacturer of baby-gear and preschool toys believes deeply in the power of innovation and fun, so it’s only apropos they make Fisher-Price cases for the tablet computer market.

The “Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case” ($35) is the lone Fisher Price iPad case available right now. This tablet case for kids will protect the iPad, iPad2 or new iPad3 from dribbles, drools and sticky fingers. But more than just protection, the case is playful and educational too. The design features a set of teething rings, and offers toddlers three ways to play: flat, easel stand mode and rocker base. The later works by downloading the free apps offered through the brand website.

Surely many parents have already made the immediate jump to buy Fisher Price tablet cases. And we wouldn’t blame them. Because after all, Fisher Price is one of the most iconic, well-respected and trusted brands in the world.
