Ikku was founded in 2012 in Amsterdam, Holland, with a purpose of creating smartphone, computer, and tablet cases from recycled and organic materials. The three founders, Daniel Archutowski, Frank Bleker and Janneke Grootings, have blended their knowledge and experience in product and fashion design, manufacturing and marketing to create a unique brand of accessories. Ikku cases offer style-savvy designs, while putting a heavy emphasis on functional and environmental aspects.
Tablet owners who buy Ikku tablet cases can rest assured that their products have very little or no harmful effect on the environment, thanks to the organic and recycled materials there are made from. There’s only one style available for tablets right now: the tablet portfolio case, but it comes in two different designs – iPad Cover Deep Dark Blue ($105), and iPad Cover Burma Collection Denim ($120) available in two color options. The cases are compatible with the iPad 2 and up.
Environmentally friendly materials are the main selling point of Ikku tablet cases. However, they are more than just green: the cases offer attractive designs, and diverse functionality, making them perfect tablet accessories for a wide base of clients.
