Slate & Stylus designs and markets accessories for popular Apple devices. The brand launched in September 2012, proving to be yet another KickStarter campaign success story. More importantly, they formed in order to help give impoverished children the chance to succeed. All Slate & Stylus cases are specifically created in order to help fund the #CLEANSLATE movement.

The debut Slate & Stylus iPad case is the Origami Slate for iPad2/iPad3 ($40). This folio case incorporates polyurethane canvas and microfiber lining, combining to offer the tablet ample protection against everyday wear and tear. But the main attraction here is the unique cover design. Aside from providing sleep/wake function, the lid folds like a piece of origami (hence the name of course) to form multiple tablet stands for browsing, typing and viewing modes. The design rests stably on level surfaces, in the user lap, and some other places too.

Those who buy Slate & Stylus tablet cases will benefit from a design that enhances tablet function and protection. In turn, children less fortunate will benefit from being given a second chance. Through their partnership with the Supply Education Group, Slate & Stylus donates proceeds from each sale to provide educational help to slum children worldwide
