Starting with the specifications, the Xolo Play Tab has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels giving it a pixel density of 216ppi. It is powered by the Tegra 3 chipset with the quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM. The device has 8GB built-in storage expandable via a microSD card. It compromises on a rear camera but houses 2MP front facing camera. A 4000mAh battery powers the package.
The display has good viewing angles and offer vibrant colors, but it is very glossy, making it hard to use it under directly sunlight. This makes it hard to read and also hard to watch videos under in brightly lit conditions.
The Xolo Play Tab 7 is equipped with a massive 4000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery which easily lasts for nearly six hours on continuous usage which includes Wi-Fi browsing and gaming. On a less rigorous use, the battery can last for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
XOLO Play Tab 7.0 got a good look and comes with renowned hardware chipset; it runs on Jelly bean OS with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Battery backup, overall design and performance are pretty good. The only issue with this tablet is its price tag.
