Samsung has advanced its line of tablet PCs with the November release of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and will certainly move to the head of the 7” tablet class with this slick product delivering great performance.

Powering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a 1.26 GHz dual-core processor. The Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system is fated to become a bit out-of-date with the imminent spread of Android 4.0, but for now 3.2 runs extremely smoothly on the Galaxy 7.0 Plus. This tablet is preinstalled with all the standard Google apps: Google Talk, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Latitude and Places, YouTube, etc.

In terms of memory, there’s 1 GB of RAM, with models sporting either 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage, and Samsung has finally decided to include a micro SD port in a tablet; the Galaxy 7.0 Plus also includes cameras of 3 and 1.3 megapixels.

Connectivity is top notch in the Galaxy 7.0 Plus, with HPSA+ and WiFi provided; Samsung supplements the WiFi with “channel bonding,” a feature designed to provide WiFi at twice the speed. There’s also a built-in calling function, which negates the need for Bluetooth devices. If these specs weren’t enough, the aesthetics of the Galaxy 7.0 Plus are also well noteworthy. The 1024x600 display is of typical high Samsung quality and sound is among the very best in the tablet world. At 0.76 pounds (0.345 kg) and 0.38” (0.96 cm), this device is super portable.

In short and simply put, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus gets top marks all around; an excellent choice for any tablet user.

Tablet2Cases recommends to buy it now for $399.
