The IdeaTab A7 is no exception to the excellent performance on offer from each of the models in the IdeaTab A range; and a low cost budget solution with the same specifications and performance as the other 8 and 10 inch models in this series, only with a smaller screen size of 7 inches.

As with all the IdeaTab models, the A7 features a MediaTek 1.3GHz quad core processor for modest performance and experiences consistent performance while gaming or watching video playback for smooth and touch responsive computing in a comfortable handheld device.

Although the battery life lasts a little shorter than the other models, this is because more performance is packed into a smaller screen and drains slightly more juice from the battery life, meaning up to 7.5 hours of use is possible.

The IdeaTab A7 also has an anti-glare screen for outdoor use, you’ll be grateful for that when trying to read that important email while sipping your latte. The 1280 x 800 resolution is good for the screen size although to keep the price low, some performance issues may cause a little latency on occasion for temporary slower reaction to touch but this is a minor issue that can be overlooked.
