$8m priced iPad 2 cases selling like hot cakes...(pause)...NOT

iPad 2 case from Stuart Hughes

International Business Times reports that the most expensive iPad 2 case has recently been created by Stuart Hughes and it costs a staggering $8million. Quite a far cry from the original $800 price.

The luxury tablet case is adorned with 24 karat solid gold and features a 12.5 karat diamond Apple logo. The front frame of the tablet is made from rock, Ammolite, and its 75 million years old. To add icing on the cake, captain Stuart Hughes put bones of 65 million year old T-Rex dinosaur into the rock cover. He then finished the design off with a single cut 8.5 karat diamond surrounded by 12 flawless diamonds inlaid on platinum surround.

The damage? £5 million ($8 million).
