The Padcaster is a unique iPad accessory, which can turn the tablet into an on-set monitor, film slate, light source, teleprompter and much more. Essentially it’s a lightweight aluminum frame, which secures the iPad and has a tripod thread with a locking-pin to attach a monopod, tripod, or a shoulder mount. Compatible with all generations of Apple tablet including the iPad, iPad 2, and the new iPad.

Besides the obvious ultra-stable tablet stand capabilities, the new iPad case allows users to mount microphones, lights and many more camera accessories onto the frame in order to become an all-in-one iPad filming buddy. The Padcaster can also be transformed into a unique DSLR cage.

The Apple iPad 2 case also has an optional accessory – the Lencaster, which allows attachment of various lenses to the case, enabling never-before-seen on iPad focus and depth of field. The urethane insert inside the frame keeps the tablet safe from bumps and bruises while offering a secure and snug fit.

The price for this item is $149.
The Padcaster and Lencaster combination costs $189.
