Ever wanted to combine your tablet and smartphone to create a mobile productivity center? Soon you will be able to, that is if the Modus lll raises the necessary funds on Kickstarter. We at Tablet2Cases liked the smartphone and tablet dock so much, that we immediately decided to help the designer by pledging funds.

The case is compatible with any Apple tablet model and virtually any current smartphone. The iPad 4 case includes interchangeable connectors (30-pin, lightning, microUSB). Although the Modus III looks kind of bulky, it actually features a modular design, and one of those parts is a protective iPad case, which can be removed from the dock at any time.

The iPad 3 case features a laptop-size keyboard, and comes with an integrated stand offering a variety of viewing angles including a typing position. The iPad 2 case will also enhance sounds coming out of the tablet’s speakers. There’s a built-in hidden compartment offering enough space to store cables and other accessories.
