Tactus Phorm Provides the iPad Mini With Tactile Keyboard on Demand

  • Tactus Phorm

Tactus presented a true innovation in the world of keyboard tablet cases – Phorm. It’s the world’s first case with a morphing touchscreen, where tactile keyboard appears whenever tablet owners need to type. The case looks like an ordinary tablet shell, but features a switch on the back, which turns on the tactile keys. Besides this unique feature, the case offers great impact protection and allows free access to all ports and buttons. Currently, the iPad Mini version can be preordered, but other tablet models are in the works as well.

About Tactus:
Tactus provides a new dimension of user interface with a fundamentally unique solution: application-controlled, completely transparent physical buttons that rise up from the touch-screen surface on demand. With the buttons enabled, users can push and type or rest their fingers as they would with any physical button or keyboard. When the buttons are disabled, they recede into the screen, becoming invisible and leaving a smooth, seamless flat touch-screen with maximum viewing area.
