Tablet2Cases has to wonder why the Big Grips folks decided to sell their Wedge tablet stand accessory separately from its like-branded Tweener and Slim tablet cases: Each of the three accessories on its own is decent enough, but sold as distinct pieces, they’re hardly the most exciting draws in the tablet-accessory universe…

Though the Big Grips Wedge tablet stand accessory is billed as a companion piece to the company’s Tweener and Slim cases, those tablet owners already pleased enough with their device’s sleeve, shell, etc., might be tempted to simply buy the Wedge – it’s certainly compatible with many tablets (up to .78 inches in profile thickness). The Wedge tablet stand in shape resembles a lounger: Simply set the encased (or not, one supposed) tablet into the groove and that’s it. There’s a handy space directly behind the set tablet for pens, pencils, smaller accessories, perhaps a smartphone; another small space underneath the tablet placement groove which could be ideal for a stylus of just about any shape. In addition, the folks at Big Grips tout the Wedge stand as being “stackable.” We realize that’s 100% true, but how many tablet stands can one user have…?
