2012 BEST FAUX-LEATHER TABLET CASE
Not everyone has the means to spoil their tablet. In fact, many of us here at Tablet2Cases can’t do the same for our cherished devices. Which is why we felt it equally important to hand out a golden case award to the best faux-leather case of 2012. At first, this seemed to be a difficult decision to make given that a very large percentage of tablet cases incorporate PU leather. In many instances, the case either simply looked or felt like real leather, but not simultaneously both together. Mareware cases are certainly nice, but ultimately, LionCase tablet cases were most deserving of this award because all user senses respond well when handling them.
There’s little to critique in Lioncase NYHK Folio Shield, a clever and great-looking tablet case for iPad 2 and iPad 3 users. Advertised as ultrathin, the NYHK Folio Shield is made up of a soft microfiber leather cover with the distinctive street-map design and tough plastic interior that holds the tablet firmly in place even when standing.
