Updated Smart Covers From Apple Appeal to the Soft Side of iPad 2

Apple decided it was high time to introduce an upgrade to its Smart Covers for iPad 2. The popular tablet smart covers will now have a microfiber lining on the inside to match the color of the exterior. The soft material will keep the pad’s screen scratch free. Initially all Smart Covers had dull grey insides.

The Smart Cover features twenty one built-in magnets, which turn the Apple iPad 2 on and off upon closing or opening the cover. The cover can be quickly and easily attached to the tablet, while extra magnets built into the iPad 2 help ease the aligning process.

The other function of the Smart Cover is its ability to turn into a tablet stand case offering several viewing and typing angles. Recent upgrade saw orange TPU cover no longer available, but dark grey color option extended the line of blue, light grey, green and pink Smart Covers. The navy color of the leather Smart Cover has been modified to become even “more navy”.
