I Scream, You Scream, Coby Screams for Ice Cream (Sandwich OS)
Reviewed by | Last Updated on December 12, 2011

Electronics producer Coby will be getting the jump on nearly every other tablet manufacturer in 2012 by introducing the first tablets to feature the Android 4.0 (or “Ice Cream Sandwich”) operating system.
Coby plans to release five models with screens spanning in size from 7” to 10”, though much of the hardware and features are identical within the range. Identical specs with the Coby Android 4.0 collection include the following.
- 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
- Up to 1 GB RAM; up to 32 GB in expandable memory
- WiFi connectivity
- HDMI output
The Coby Android 4.0 tablet line will be introduced at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.
The five models of Coby Android 4.0 tablets will have screens of 7”, 8”, 9”, 9.7” and 10”. Please refer to our tablet cases sizes page for the appropriately-sized carrier for your Coby.
