Seemingly, Cooper has created the Elementary case to meet the practical demands of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 owners. This rudimentary folio case design provides everyday function and protection all in one sturdily-built, low-cost package.
Case-Mate iPad 2 Animal Print Versant in Hot Pink Snake
Gold Snake Skin, Hot Pink Snake, Gold Cheetah? These aren’t crazy super-hero names. These are the animal-inspired designs for the Case-Mate Versant case. The folio case is an exotic attraction in the jungle of tablet cases. Not only does the case give an eye-catching style, it also converts into a tablet stand for your viewing and typing pleasure.

If you feel that your working days have fallen into the same old routine, perhaps it is time to spice things up. Case Mate’s Animal Print Versant folio is packed with personality that is sure to make you smile. The Versant has 3 design options: Gold Snake Skin, Hot Pink Snake, Gold Cheetah—each one having a different type of eye-catching appeal. These designs aren’t for everyone, but they might just be perfect for an equally wild tablet user.

Major problems here. Mainly, the iPad doesn’t stay in place when it’s in the case. This causes all sorts of difficulties: the case ends up covering parts of the screen, the camera hole doesn’t match up and home button is obstructed. All these add up to some rather frustrating tablet use. Really, the best thing you get here is a multi-angle viewing stand support.
Even though the case provides protection against scratches and bumps, there is not much that holds the iPad in except for a thin flap. This means there is potential for the tablet to slip out—the worst-case scenario.
Case-Mate always uses good quality material when building their cases and the Versant is no exception. Everything here suggests the case will stick around for the life of the tablet, and probably well beyond.
A $50 price tag just doesn’t add up here considering the case’s poor ratings in protection and functionality. The funky design is the best thing you get when purchasing this case.
We all know that we shouldn’t judge a book by its front cover, but that is exactly how you take Case-Mate’s Versant. The animal print designs are funky and bold, but the case as a whole doesn't really offer much for the tablet.
