The folks at Cooper Cases are apparently quite proud of this tablet folio case: After all, it’s described as both “Infinite” and “Universal” in its lofty name. And in a few aspects, Cooper’s pride may be justified. Unfortunately, too many generic features (including the look) detract from the overall product.
PC Treasures Props Apple iPad Folio Case
This slim folio case may not look like much, but it definitely deserves some props! Not only affordably low-priced, but it’s a functional design that lets you enjoy full use of the iPad while enclosed, as well as enhances your device’s usability by converting into a tablet stand for browsing, typing and viewing.
- Access to all iPad controls and features
- Media easel for typing and viewing
- Magnetic cover for secure closure
- Dust/lint particles cling to the micro-suede lining
- Stand feature is a tad wobbly for hands-on browsing
- Cheap look and feel
The Props Folio case is meant to meet the more practical needs of consumers with a very useful solution for an inexpensive price. This polyurethane design features a magnetically sealed cover and smooth micro-suede interior to protect the iPad from bumps, dirt, nicks and scratches.
The device slides easily into a bezel frame and secured with a Velcro flap, a design that leaves open access to all of its important controls and features. The integrated tablet stand is easy to set-up, to do so, simply fold the cover back and slip it into the sewn-on tab.
- Richly textured PU leather construction
- Specifically designed for iPad 1
- Precise openings for ports, speakers, and cameras
- No need to remove from case to enjoy full use of tablet
- Protective front cover easily converts to an easel stand
- Magnetized seal for secure closure
Connecting the cover with the tab insert creates just one basic angle, but it gives you stable support for both typing and hands-free viewing. This design has precise openings for the home button, on/off switch, volume rocker, dock-port, headphone-jack, speakers and camera.
This magnetic tablet case is a scratch/stain-resistant PU leather design that will provide your device the full-body protection it needs to sustain everyday wear and tear.
“PU” is not only short for polyurethane, but it’s also my reaction to the manufacturing-plant smell this design gives off. The overall look and feel is rather cheap, and although textured, the glossy exterior is not the easiest to grasp firmly.
It’s quality and usability may be basic, but thankfully so is the $19.95 price tag.
Although it may not look like anything special, I have to give my props to this solution that provides all the basic function and protection you need for one amazing low price.
