The folks at Cooper Cases are apparently quite proud of this tablet folio case: After all, it’s described as both “Infinite” and “Universal” in its lofty name. And in a few aspects, Cooper’s pride may be justified. Unfortunately, too many generic features (including the look) detract from the overall product.
Cooper One Universal iPad/10" Tablet Sleeve in Blue
The Cooper One neoprene envelope case for the 10” tablet is certainly attractive in its array of bright colors and the low price will certainly sell it (literally) to some users, but in the end this one is strictly a no-frills, short-term solution.
Pros
- Good scratch-resistant synthetic exterior
- Attractive colors
- Low price
Cons
- Poor stitching
- No extras
- Not easy to clean
Overview
Look, this tablet owner loves blue. So at first glance, the Cooper One soft envelope tablet case was a winner and the super-low price makes it an attention-grabber as well. You’re not going to get too much more out of this tablet case, however, and in some areas of quality it suffers quite a bit.
Kudos to this case first: the nice tight fit is a definite plus and the synthetic neoprene material gives the exterior a good hand-feel at a light weight. The lining will protect the screen well enough from scratches and other minor incidents, so carrying the tablet in everyday circumstances is no problem.

The other problem was in the exterior. Great material and gorgeously colored this envelope case may have, but that material smudges easily. Being synthetic doesn’t help in the cleaning, either.

Editor's Rating
| Rating | Description |
|---|---|
| N/A | |
| 3.0 | Functionality: As a simple envelope-style tablet carrier, the rating here should really be “N/A.” The Cooper One sleeve comes with no cutouts or extras to speak of. |
| 4.0 | Protection: Hardly a rugged case, this envelope-style carrier nevertheless does a very good job in resisting scratches and minor damage to the all-important touchscreen. This one shouldn't be used in anything beyond the everyday. |
| 2.0 | Quality: A massive contrast within a single carrier. The quality neoprene exterior and interiors in this case are quite notable for both toughness and thinness, but what good is such protection if the stitching is destined to fall apart? The design element on the envelope flap will also fray easily, making it look flat-out cheap – wonderful colors or no. |
| 2.5 | Value: Going for as low as about $12.95, this carrier certainly is the indisputable leader in one area -price. Once again, however, it should be viewed as a temporary, no-frills solution for carrying the 10” tablet |
| 2.9 | Overall: Poor Not very much more than a pretty face at a low price, the best-case scenario for the Cooper One envelope-style case is probably to serve as a short-term, cheapie gift – thrown in along with a proper 10” tablet, of course. |
