Overview
The Glare Guard 2 from Padacs is a unique 6-layer transparent film to be applied to the iPad 2 screen in order to reduce the impact of glare, enhance images, eliminate sparkle, as well as improve vibrancy and clarity. Plus, it also offers protection to a hardness factor 3H, primarily shielding against scratches.
The six layers consist of: a dust-proof film, an anti-glare layer, a hard coating layer, PET, a silicone adhesive, and a release film (both the dust-proof and release film are peeled off during the application process). Unfortunately, Padacs has neglected to include any instructions on how to install the product, but the package does include adhesive/cleaning tape and a soft cloth.

As with all screen films, you need to make sure your device’s screen is clear of dirt, dust and lint particles before applying or else bubbles will form. Once applied, the soft cleaning cloth will quickly wipe away dirt, dust and fingerprint smudges.
