Wearing your affection for Paul Frank style on a sleeve can be good. The improved functionality of this folio can prove even better. It all starts with the design that keeps the iPad fully functional while encased. The hard plastic frame is custom built for the iPad 3 form. But the iPad 2 can also receive an equally perfect fit by placing a thin pad (included in the package) underneath the tablet which will compensate for the slight difference in tablet thickness. The inner cover features a discreet magnet that provides auto sleep/wake function, as well as three grooves for hands-free tablet display. Nothing ideal for typing, but all angles (55°, 65° and 75°) are well-suited for browsing, viewing and FaceTime. The case closes via a small magnetic strap. From there, the PU leather exterior and soft-touch lining will defend against bumps, dings and scratches. Though the tablet is embedded in a hard plastic shell, the soft case spine and slim-profile design is not made for handling serious drops. For peace of mind, this solution can pack easily inside a roomy Paul Frank tablet bag or tablet sleeve. .
