Now this is a proper tablet shoulder bag . The unexciting name of the STM Bags Stash is in complete contrast to its sharp looks, excellent pockets, nice cushioned interior and tough canvas exterior. This one could well serve as the primary carrying accessories to your wardrobe – with great tablet carrying as a bonus!

The STM Bags Stash iPad shoulder bag is a great carrier, period. How do I know this? Because the first thing I did after unwrapping this tablet bag and noting the crazy number of storage spaces was take it for a test drive. I literally emptied my pockets and threw in everything I could reasonably imagine toting on an average day and whoa. Gone, all of it.
The details of this informal survey? All right, then. Small stuff like cell phone, iPhones and iPads and accessories go in the zippered pocket at the very front. Behind this, another zippered pocket reveals a virtual filing system with two spaces for papers and a card holder plus a key ring.

On the back side of the Stash shoulder bag, an exterior pocket can’t quite hold a fatter paperback like The Hunger Games (not that I’m reading The Hunger Games or anything), but it’s perfect for thinner books and – you guessed it – eBook readers such as the Amazon Kindle or Nook Tablet models.
Oh yeah, the tablet itself sits in the middle, protected by a thick cushioned inner lining. With no securing mechanism on the interior, the tablet jiggles around a bit much for my liking, but filling other spaces helps in this and a good walk to the pub and back showed absolutely no ill effects.
Finally, the exterior itself gets kudos for its typical accessory look, sturdy canvas reinforced with decent stitching, well-built handles at the top and good strong shoulder strap. In the final analysis, the STM Stash shoulder bag is truly among the cream of the crop.
