You’re probably familiar with the mythological winged unicorn called Pegasus, but this namesake design by Trident Case is something you can definitely believe in. Designed for the BlackBerry Playbook, this tablet protector is made of durable silicone material, and comes with a self-applicable tablet screen protector for increased full-body coverage.

Which is why you should consider the Pegasus, it’s made of a durable silicone material that can shield the Playbook against the most common imposing threats, like bumps, dings, dirt, scratches, moisture and liquid spills.

What I love about Trident cases are their contoured backside-designs that compliment the shape of the user’s hands. And for further improving the hold of your tablet, this case features raised edges on both the left and right sides, offering better traction and a more firm, confident grip. The design gives you access and use of all tablet controls and features, including both front/rear-facing cameras. Also, the buttons on the top edge are covered to keep dirt, dust and moisture out.

3.5	Functionality: The covered buttons and controls are less responsive to my touch, but I can easily get passed this knowing they are better protected. The design gives your clear access and use of ports and cameras, and although it doesn’t have any special features, I do consider the raised edges that function like handles to be an improvement over the average case-style design.
4.0	Protection: Pegasus can keep your Playbook safe from bumps, dings, dirt, dust, moisture, spills and scratches. For extending this coverage across the entire device body, the package includes a scratch/smudge-resistant screen protector with a cleaning and installation kit.
4.0	Quality: No margin for error here, the single piece of durable silicone material is perfectly molded. I highly doubt that you will even need to consider the one-year limited warranty that comes with all Trident cases.
4.5	Value: Great $24.95 is a great value! Purchased separately, a tablet protector and screen protector could cost you more.
4.0	Overall: Good The Pegasus is another design that proves Trident Case’s reputation for creating great protective solutions is no myth. Your tablet’s eventual demise is certain, but with this cost-efficient choice, it can avoid becoming an instant Greek tragedy.

"Hassle-free protection"

Thanks to this Trident case I feel safe about my PlayBook. The rubber material seemed too thin to me at first, but it does the job: I bump the case against the table almost every single day and nothing has happened to it until now (knocking on wood). Plus, the rubber coating gives me a pretty good grip on the device. The bonus screen protector is surely a nice addition, I love free things!
