Seemingly, Cooper has created the Elementary case to meet the practical demands of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 owners. This rudimentary folio case design provides everyday function and protection all in one sturdily-built, low-cost package.
Woodford Design MotoMount Universal iPad Car Headrest Mount
Once the FridgePad has been used to cook-up something delicious, it can now travel in the car on route to the picnic or potluck dinner. The MotoMount is an efficient, easy-to-use car headrest mount , and one of two additional Woodford Design solutions that gives the original FridgePad some extra flavor.
Pros
- Access to most-important iPad controls/features
- Easy to mount/dismount on any size headrest
- Smart cover compatible
Cons
- Only works with the FridgePad
- Limited to landscape format
- No display angle adjustment
Overview
WoodFord Design proves that a car headrest mount doesn’t need to so complicated. The MotoMount is a minimalist design consisting of a laminated hard plastic plate with Velcro securing strap. The FridgePad here is limited to landscape format, yet remains solidly fastened even while driving on rough terrain. Unlike many other headrest mounts, there is no rattling to be heard here, and the iPad screen is well stabilized. There you have it… I told you this design was uncomplicated.

| 4.0 | Functionality: Straightforward design, straightforward use. There are no adjustments for the display angle, so really only the person seated directly in front of it has clear view of the screen. It's also limited to landscape format (the FridgePad will slide off if mounted vertically), yet the user still has clear access to on/off switch, home button, audio-jack, USB port or dock-connector, volume rocker and front camera. |
| 4.0 | Protection: Not designed for protection, but if the case falls with the tablet on the floor, the tablet will not get damaged. |
| 4.5 | Quality: Like the FridgPad and WallMount, this solution is clean, simple and gets straight to the point. Of course Velcro securing has its pros and cons, but the laminated hard plastic plate holder is very, very solid. |
| 3.5 | Value: There are some more skillful headrest mounts that could also work with the FridgePad, but the MotoMount doesn’t require as much user skill to attach/detach the tablet, allowing for easier transfer from home, to car, to office and back. |
| 4.0 | Overall: Good FridgePad owners will see this as a nice little solution for giving their accessory some added flavor. But I see the MotoMount as a design that should actually inspire more people to go out and purchase the FridgePad. |
