Driver Nr.9 with Team Yaco Racing

Tablet2Cases is proud to announce our sponsorship of Yaco Racing driver Michail Stepanov for the 2011 season of the ADAC Procar Series.

Originally founded in 1995 as the Deutsche Tourenwagen Challenge, the ADAC Procar Series is an annual motorsport season organized by Germany-based automobile club ADAC (or “Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club”). The competition features Super 2000 cars run by teams from Germany and European countries. In the 2011 season, races are to be held in Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands in addition to Germany.

A native of Moscow and the only Russian driver in the ADAC Procar Series, Michail Stepanov is a veteran of the procar circuit and joined the ADAC competition with the Yaco Racing team in 2010. Stepanov’s most notable accomplishment in the top leagues was his second-place overall finish in the Russian Touring Car Championship of 2006. For the 2011 edition of the ADAC series, Stepanov is driver of the no. 9 car, a Toyota Auris S2000.

Yaco Racing is based in Germany and currently manages two drivers in the first division of the ADAC Procar Series, with Stepanov joined by Lorenz Frey. The owners of the team also head up Auto-Geipel GmbH, a major sales and service facility for Toyota vehicles in Germany.
