Since tablets are designed for mobility and portability, one most desired feature in a carrier is an embedded battery pack. Tablet battery cases reviews identify them as one of the more sought-after variations in tablet stowage – after all, with this power supply included, no extra battery pack needs to be toted around and convenience is multiplied. Most commonly found in solar powered tablet cases, which of necessity include a voltaic power cell-type battery in order to give the user six or more hours of use, tablet battery cases can come in all sorts of case styles.

The solar-powered version of the tablet case has set the benchmark for buying tablet cases with battery in general: The inset battery pack should be seamlessly integrated into a lightweight case, usually somewhere in the bottom half of the case, sometimes occupying one whole side of the carrier with the solar cells. While this may represent the heaviest piece within the case, this additional power supply should not add a noticeable difference in weight to the tablet battery case, as photovoltaic batteries are known for their lightness.

Beyond these carriers, the best tablet battery case pack will typically – but not exclusively – be found in the ranges of bags with just the slight bit of extra space available; some models may include a kickstand feature or some other kind of base to prop up the tablet for greater ease of use. Sheer-fitting sleeves and envelope cases simply cannot contain a solar-powering feature for space concerns and so some sort of external charger must be employed.
