Eco-friendly Plicopa Hides and Props Up the New iPad
If you hate throwing away cardboard packaging further endangering our planet, with the new tablet sleeve – Plicopa – you will no longer have to. The case project is currently seeking funding through Indiegogo and will be available in all Apple tablet sizes including the iPad, iPad 2, new iPad, and the iPad Mini.
The new iPad case is crafted from special, 1mm thick cardboard, which will protect the device from minor bumps and bruises. The design of the Apple iPad Mini case allows it to easily transform into a highly convenient tablet stand offering perfect viewing angles for a variety of applications.
Currently buyers can choose from 60 artwork pieces by designers and artists to make their Apple iPad case unique. If the Plicopa gets the necessary backing there will be much more design options to choose from including a special app, which allows customers to design their own artwork.
Pledges of $31 or more will get you the case.
