Our hawked-eyed team has spotted yet another tablet case on TV. This time it was the S02E08 of The Newsroom series, where Will McAvoy (played by Jeff Daniels) is preparing to cover the election night with his colleagues. There’s an iPad on the news desk between Will and Sloan Sabbith, and it’s propped up in a folio tablet case.

The tablet folio she uses to protect the tablet seems to be durable enough as well as quite functional. Besides the obvious benefit of an integrated stand function, all of the device’s ports and buttons are open to unrestricted access. Sloan takes advantage of this fact and we can see a charging cord going into the tablet right then and there on the news desk. It’s because of the plastic shell the tablet stands in, we think that the case is very much similar to the Incline from M-Edge. Sloan’s iPad folio case offers the following functionality:
Following its premier on HBO back in June, 2012, The Newsroom has grown into a highly popular show and has already been confirmed for Season 3. The series tells the story of a cable news program, which has an ambitious objective – put journalism and integrity back into the news. The main character Will, is a news anchor, forced to settle for a brand new team of colleagues. Naturally, the show is full of work-place romance, betrayals, corporate policies and expectations, and all other things you’d expect from an American TV channel backstage. In case Jeff Daniels wasn’t enough, there is Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn, and Sam Waterston as permanent cast members and a wealth of renowned guest stars.
