It’s not made of goatskin (yes, such cases do exist), rather this two-piece design consists of a silicone inner-sleeve and a plastic shell, combining to protect the tablet against shocks, abrasions, dirt, dust, moisture, liquid spills, and most likely, some minor accidental drops. The later may be avoided thanks to anti-slip pads on the back, which have a nice contoured shape for your hand and a soft feel for griping the tablet comfortably and secure. You’ll also appreciate the added screen protector that you can apply for enhancing the case’s overall defense (cleaning/installation kit and instructions included).
