The 7” Kobo Vox is a new entry into the tablet PC market and, while it attempts to fulfill all the requirements of a more sophisticated device, at least one high-profile reviewer calls it “more of a souped-up reader than a full-fledged multimedia experience.”

Kobo Vox specs and features include the following:

• Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system;


• 7” glare resistant touchscreen with 1024x800 pixel resolution;


• 800 MHz single-core processor;


• 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB internal storage;


• SD card port for up to 32 GB of extra memory; and


• Battery life of seven hours on full use.
