Below are some of our favourite note-taking apps that will be the perfect accomplice to your bluetooth keyboard.

5. Somnote (Android | iOS)

Another simplistic app, Somnote has great security features. You can lock and add passwords to certain notes with ease. Somnote also has a great syncing feature so you can use it on multiple devices.


4. Fetchnotes (Android | iOS)

We love Fetchnotes because of its simplicity. This free text-only app has a really easier to use interface and does exactly what it says on the tin. If you want a simple notepad app this may well be the one for you.


3. Microsoft OneNote (iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Web)

OneNote has been around since 2003. Over this time they have really developed a great note-taking app. OneNote gives users the opportunity to organize their notes in a way no other app does. You can search with ease for any recipe, shopping list or to do list. OneNote provides the capability of video recording and has great stylus compatibility.

Googles foray into the note application market is Google Keep. It has all the things you’d come to expect from a google app including a simple interface, google calendar syncing and the great google speech to text feature. A great alternative to Evernote, Google Keep is available for your Android and Apple devices.

Evernote is a productivity app that has bagged countless awards for its innovation. This cross platform app can be used to record meetings, annotate PDF’s, act as a personal diary or simply as a notepad. One of our favourite things about Evernote is that you can view all of your notes on their website, which is really handy if you don’t have your tablet with you.
