The Touchtype – an ultra-thin folio tablet case – finally goes on sale. The case was created by Salman Sajid and funded with the help of Kickstarter. The idea of the case is quite simple: it works on its own protecting the tablet from harm, but can also fit the original Apple aluminum Bluetooth keyboard.

The Touchtype is compatible with all Apple tablets including the iPad, iPad 2, and the new iPad. The unique design of the case stores the keyboard underneath the tablet, unlike the majority of tablet keyboard cases , making the cylindrical battery create the illusion of a book.

Naturally, the new iPad case reclines in many ways to become a handy tablet stand allowing various viewing and typing angles. Both the tablet itself and the keyboard are secured inside the case via elastic corner straps eliminating any risk of a slip out. The Apple iPad 2 case comes in polyurethane or leather material.

The leather case costs $75.
The price for the polyurethane case is $37.
