Second RRC Weekend Brings Valuable Points for Tablet2Cases Sponsored Driver

The second racing weekend in the Russian Racing Championship took place between June 7-9 on Moscow Raceway. This time around the RRC weekend was held together with the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) stage, which has visited Russian track for the first time in history.

Once again the weekend consisted of qualifications and two races. Tablet2Cases-sposored driver Michail Stepanov has qualified in 8th place for the first race. He then managed to climb up the ranks to finish in 6th place raking up valuable points for himself and the B-tuning team.

Drivers placed 1-6 in the first race of the day have started the second race in reverse positions, allowing Stepanov to take the pole. Our pilot have showed superb skills throughout the race, but tricky conditions and aggressive driving from his opponents have caused Stepanov to drop back and finish in 4th place. This result has allowed him to collect another set of points towards Drivers and Team rankings.

The total of 128 points collected during the weekend put Michail Stepanov in 3rd spot in the overall classification for Touring class, only 25 points behind the second place. B-tuning team has managed a 4th and a 2nd place in overall Touring classification over the weekend. B-tuning currently occupies the 3rd place in Team standings with 134 points behind the 2nd spot, but 118 points ahead of the 4th place.

The next stage is scheduled to take place in Smolensk between June 28-30. We wish Michail Stepanov luck during the upcoming racing weekend and look forward to seeing his amazing driving skills in action.
