The Rubata 2 is one of two tablet keyboard cases that Padacs has created in order to make long proactive sessions with your iPad 2 a whole lot easier. While the other, the Toccata 2 incorporates a keyboard made of silicone gel, this particular model utilizes a traditional plastic hard-shell keyboard that is also compatible with Bluetooth enabled devices running Windows, MAC, or Linux, with a working distance up to 10 meters. With the Rubata 2, you have two different viewing angles in stand mode , but I found the bezel frame does not fit very secure in either groove causing the display to shake and wobble a bit. If you need a tablet keyboard case to use on a commuter train or plane, then I think the Toccata 2 is the better choice; it has only one display angle, but the design is more stable.

The Robata 2 performs slightly better than its sibling the Toccata 2. Ultimately, we think Padacs keyboard cases are a best case scenario for those who want to do serious work with iPad2 or iPad3, without impacting their budget in a serious manner.
