Greenwich Shields the iPad Air 2 With Leather and Carbon Fiber

The Hawksmoor from Greenwich is a classic folio tablet case, which combines carbon fiber strength with luxurious looks of the finest leather. Rigid carbon fiber shell is masked by leather offering a clean, ergonomic design with clear access to all ports and buttons. The Apple iPad Air 2 case offers integrated stand functionality with a variety of viewing angles and supports the auto sleep/wake function of the device thanks to built-in magnets. Secure magnetic lock keeps the case firmly shut during travel, while a small interior pocket provides enough space to hold important documents.

About Greenwich:

Greenwich was born on a sunny afternoon in an English pub without wifi, laptops, spreadsheets or accountants. It may not be the biggest or best idea ever to have been born in the pub – and we’ll bet you a pint of bitter that it wasn’t the first – but it is the product of 20 years’ experience, genuine enthusiasm and a commitment to offering a better class of product by cutting out the middle man.

After twenty years making cases for famous fashion, lifestyle, tech and automotive brands, we’ve seen a lot of leather – British, Italian, Spanish, Turkish... But there was no argument about the leather that we would use for the Greenwich collection. The leather our designers had fallen for is produced in the rural south of Germany from a soft bull hide renowned for its impeccable aesthetic combined with the durability which we know from experience a phone case needs.

And during those same twenty years, we’ve also seen a lot of broken screens. So, to ensure that a Greenwich case is as protective as it is beautiful, our designers decided that the only material strong enough to protect a device screen but also light and thin enough not to add bulk would be carbon fibre. And with none of the accountants there to argue – that’s exactly what they went for.
