Overview

This Wardmaster Book Jacket is a balanced design for function and protection. The design consists of a soft padded scratch- and water-resistant polyurethane exterior and microfiber lining with TDS shock-absorbing foam in between. The Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 is held snug inside by a internal rubber frame and exterior elastic cover strap. In addition to giving great all-around protection, the main attraction of this series is a media-friendly design that provides full access to all the buttons, the SD port, and rear-facing camera, as well as converts into a tablet stand for typing/viewing modes.

3.5	Functionality A lightweight, general purpose jacket well balanced for everyday use. The easel mode works better on smooth surfaces, and gives a clear angle for viewing if not typing or navigation. The rear-cover camera port is a nice feature that a lot of the Galaxy Tab cases neglect.
5.0	Protection The rubberized inner jacket fits snug and securely, but also leaves all the ports and side buttons free without overlapping. Whilst better suited to the urban environment than the great outdoors or extreme sports, the water repellent cover and shock absorbing foam perform well.
4.5	Quality The faux-leather stitching and edging for the access ports is neatly done and the microsuede interior will keep the Galaxy Tab safe not only from impacts but scratches and abrasions. Elasticized components such as the strap and the inner jacket are likely tradeoffs between being snug and secure and actual longevity.
3.5	Value The faux-leather cover feels good in the hand and won’t look out of place wherever you take it. Full protection and quality fabrics rarely come cheap, but the Book Jacket series is a decent balance between budget and style.
4.1	Overall: Good Classic design and features put this Wardmaster Samsung Galaxy Tab Book Jacket comfortably ahead of most fashion or novelty cases. Concerns about the lifespan of some of the components are more than made up for by quality construction and rock-solid essentials.

"Beautiful and safe"

I’m very satisfied with this Wardmaster case, and my Galaxy Tab is too! Not only it’s made of top-notch materials in and out, but it keeps my tablet safe both in the open and inside my laptop bag. The stand function is the best in my opinion: stable, secure and just at the right angle.
