While healing from a work-related injury, Toronto bike messenger Pat McGibbon began sewing messenger bags for friends and co-workers in order to keep her idle hands from turning into the devil’s playground. These bags quickly became popular amongst other messengers, that it inspired her to launch PAC Designs. PAC Designs cases boast a collection of bike messenger bags that are separated into three different categories: “The Basic Series” ($85-$99), “The Street Series” ($135-$185), and “The Professional Series” ($229-$389). If you would like to buy PAC Designs tablet cases, the “Basic” series includes models sized 11”, the closest match for storing tablet computers. Working with the Tom Bihn Company, they now offer a laptop sleeve insert for specific use with a PAC messenger bar. This accessory is priced at $50 (+$9 for an attachable shoulder strap).
