Felt Cases

Tablet cases made of felt can sheathe the device comfortably and stylishly while offering a nice sheer look and a tactile feel that is second to none. Felt tablet cases are often made by do-it-yourself types or providers of custom tablet cases , but quite a few mass-market products are also readily available.

As felt tablet cases are made of this pliable material, many designs are possible, though a one-piece cover that folds out seems to be the most popular. While most designs feature the duo-fold common among other types of carrier – thus allowing the built-in feature of a stand case or base for the device – some tablet felt cases even fold out four ways to provide a base for a tablet keyboard , mouse and other accessories the user might need to employ the tablet in laptop fashion.

Though the protection provided by felt tablet cases may not be as extensive as that offered by cases of harder material, a felt-made case may be lined with some sort of polymer for a bit more support; however, even the basic felt cases still offer decent defense against the typical punishment a tablet screen might receive.

Just as in other products using this material, felt tablet cases come in a wide range of colors and styles, with personalized styles available. Closing straps, fasteners, handles and/or straps are typically made of leather or faux leather, giving a nice-looking accent to the case while providing some sturdiness.
