All things considered, perhaps the best and most inexpensive way to protect the screen on a tablet PC – even while in use – is with a screen protector. Screen protectors (also known as “shields”) for tablets are designed for those users frequently on-the-go and for those who may be using their tablet PC outdoors.
Tablet screen protectors defend the device from scratching, smearing and outside elements. Designed to be employed while the tablet is in use, these products are of necessity made of thin, clear material that can be seen through. Screen protectors designed for specific tablets are cut to allow access to ports and/or toggle controls, and can be used in tandem with any tablet case or bag.
