Frederick James launches a collection of designer tablet cases , made from notorious felon’s, Bernie Madoff, clothing. Madoff is a well-known operator of the largest Ponzi scheme in history. Before being incarcerated, he was a stockbroker, investment advisor and chairman of NASDAQ stock market.
Renowned designer Frederick James took an unusual step and created a line of tablet cases from Madoff’s clothing auctioned by the US Marshals Service. The collection is named “The Bernie Madoff”. The cases can fit various tablets on the market, from Apple iPad to BlackBerry PlayBook .
Each case is naturally unique, made of one clothing item, designed as a fashion statement, and offering the devices virtually no protection. The cases are enjoying unprecedented demand, selling out immediately after being posted on the company’s website.
The prices for the cases range from $250 to $500.
