According to techie-specialist website TechCrunch, Motorola’s Droid XYBoard tablets – widely available and impressing customers in Europe under the Motorola Xoom 2 brand name – will be coming to Verizon stores in America in December. Two versions will be released, with 8.2” and 10.1” screens. Motorola Droid XYBoard specs are as follows.

  • Android 3.2 operating system

  • 8.2” touchscreen or 10.1” touchscreen; 1280 x 720px resolution

  • 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM

  • Internal storage of 16 GB or 32 GB on 8.2” version; 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB on 10.1” version

  • 802.11 WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 connectivity

  • 5 MP and 1.3 MP cameras



To house the Droid XYBoards, use a 9” tablet case for the smaller size and a 10” tablet case for the larger.
