The Yoga 2 looks a lot like the first Yoga tablet, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Once again, the whole tablet hinges around the fold-out kick stand at the base. As such we're left with an insanely slim tablet for the most part, and a 'hump' at the base where we find the stand, and a honkin' great battery inside.

The 8-inch display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and this is IPS panel so it offers wide viewing angles.m There’s an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing one. The whole tablet weighs in at roughly 1 lbs.

Another big feature of the Yoga Tablet series is the great battery life, and that makes a return here as well, with a promise of 18 hours of battery life available with both tablets.

The Yoga Tablet 2 offers four modes of operation: stand, tilt, hold and the new hang. While you may still want to invest in a case for the Yoga Tablet 2 to protect its display while in transit, the built-in kickstand means you get more modes than a $39 iPad Smart Cover, without having to spring for an extra accessory.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 has a comfortable, ergonomic design with a useful built-in kickstand. The sharp LED display is paired with booming speakers and a long-lasting battery.
