Kenton Sorenson traded in one set of cutting shears for another. The Wisconsin-based designer originally trained as a barber. Now, with a “pure leather done simply” approach toward design, he has a namesake brand that produces durable and functional genuine leather bags, Kenton Sorenson cases, and other small goods.

The collection of KG products currently features three tablet sleeve designs for use with the iPads, 10” and 11” tablets. The “iPad Sleeve” ($150) is a simple top-loading design with no closure. The “iPad Portfolio” ($190) and “KS 11” MacBook Air Portfolio” ($200) don’t have any pockets, slots or folds to make them true portfolio cases, but either design is sure to attract sophisticated business professionals to buy Kenton Sorenson tablet cases. Another option is the “KS Messenger” ($750), which has the space to hold any sized tablet.

Some KG designs, including the “iPad Portfolio”, were recently featured in the GQ (US) and Esquire (UK) magazines “Best Of” editions. If your tablet ranks tops on the list of personal electronic gadgets, then a Kenton Sorenson case could easily be the best compliment.
