Alcatel makes its first foray into the local tablet market is with this entry-level but very functional 7-inch Alcatel One Touch Tab T10. While the specs are pretty basic, the T10 turned out to be a worthy everyday tablet.

The One Touch T10 will come running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhich out of the box, sports a paltry 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and runs at 800x480 resolution. So yeah, nothing to really write home about as far as specs go.

With the 7-inch (800 x 480) One Touch T10, Alcatel's entering the overcrowded Android tablet space, and doing so without much flare -- especially when compared side-by-side with, say, Google's flagship, the Nexus 7

The One Touch T10's low-end specs clearly aren't meant to compete with flagship Android tablets like Google's Nexus 7, but Alcatel is hoping it will still find a place in the overcrowded Android market as a budget tablet.
