The ElitePad 1000 G2 from HP fully integrates into the operation of a company and the secure network. Data management and protection is an important feature of this tablet that comes with secure authentication to protect data. However, it won’t win any awards for design. Storage on offer can support up to 128GB SD cards.

The downfall of this tablet is that it only utilizes an integrated GPU chipset which means the processor will sometimes slow the system down and struggle to handle graphics all that well. It is not designed for games and certainly not modern 3D games, however it is designed for corporate use instead but the graphics quality will suffer and be barely adequate for streaming video or hosting live conferences. It does have 4GB of memory to compensate but expect performance issues occasionally.

You may wonder what this tablet has to offer you, and the answer is, not much. Corporate users will like the bundled software and security for their business such as HP client security, drive encryption, Defender and HP Trust. For this the HP ElitePad 1000 might be a good choice, but casual users might be discouraged by the lower specifications.
