Founded in 2011 in the French town of Nantes, In Cahoots is a family-run company behind The French Cover brand of exquisite tablet cases. The manufacturer’s goal is to showcase the high quality of French craftsmanship by making luxurious products for tablet PCs. The company utilizes materials from bookbinding workshop Devel and wood workshop Ateliers Normand to hand-craft each and every case. The French Cover cases combine the high-tech nature of iPads with vintage looks reminiscent of the original Moleskine notebook.

The current product line of the company includes high-class tablet book cases for the iPad 2 and New iPad. The cases look exactly like the legendary notebook on the outside. The combination of durable wooden frame and soft, premium leather cover delivers great protection from impacts and bumps, as well as exquisite looks. The $90 price tag may be a bit high, but the superior craftsmanship makes it really worthwhile to buy The French Cover tablet cases.

The French Cover cases are not only highly protective of the tablets they were designed to shield, but they also ooze the premium quality of their materials and the superb craftsmanship which took to make them. It’s a pity that the company currently only makes cases suitable for the “big” Apple tablets, the iPad Mini surely deserves one too.
