While traveling in the Gran Sabana region of Venezuela, this company’s founder encountered the Pemon tribe, and observed many of their practices while living amongst them. Inspired by the outstanding workmanship and durability of the storage receptacles these indigenous folk created, he decided to apply similar methods in designing and developing a collection of bags for modern urbanites. Ultimately, he appropriately chose to name his company Pakuma, the Pemon word for 'to carry.'
At this time, the company does not offer any cases that are specifically designed for tablet PCs. However, their 10” netbook zippered sleeve may serve to accommodate certain tablets. Based on the prices of their existing line of products, perhaps it can be assumed that the tablet cases they will eventually introduce will also be created to target the mid-range consumer.
Considering the design and quality of their collection of messenger bags and zippered sleeves for laptops, we look forward to similar developments that will accommodate a variety of tablet brands. Operating with the motto, "Life's a journey...arrive in style" we are pretty certain that business travelers and global adventurers will be eagerly awaiting the opportunity to buy Pakuma tablet cases.
