Kids cases are specifically designed to offer extra protection from damage caused by young children using the tablet.
Typically oversized and colorful, these playful designs are crafted with defense in mind first. The materials used are almost always some combination of sturdy molded plastic, polycarbonate and foam rubber. Though tablet cases for kids may be made of soft (or even what is described as “squishy”) material, the best kids tablet case should feature a goodly amount of firm material to protect from accidents and rough handling.
In terms of looks, kids tablet cases are seen in nearly as wide a range as their adult-use counterparts. Such cases may come with a lid to cover the screen or may be insert models so that the tablet is placed in the case and is ready for use. With children in mind, such cases are designed for ease of use by small hands, and appeal with bright neon colors and curvilinear shapes.
